QuestionDoes this system have to be plugged into a wall outlet or can you use it without being plugged in? I am looking for one that does not have to have an electric plug as I will be using it out on a field for high school.

QuestionI have the Sony XB7 Model now , if I bought the sony V11 can I use them both to party chain them in sync , also for karoke to work together in Bluetooth?

QuestionWith only one speaker, I assume the sound would be in Mono. So, I have to buy two of these if I want to hear it in stereo? It says you can connect other speakers to it, will the sound come out in stereo or two speakers in both mono?

QuestionCan I play music with my MP3 player on this? Best Buy said it would work with the USB port so I connected my MP3 with the charging cable to the USB port but could not get it to play, it just kept charging. I cannot find an auxiliary jack to plug it in.

- Answer Sony gave me the answer that works, in case anyone else has this question. You heed a component audio cable (Y cable), connecting one end of a 3.5 mm audio jack to the 3.5 mm port on your Walkman MP3, then connect the other end (red and white plugs) to "Audio In" on back of the MHC-V11. Set "Function" to "Audio In" and everything works perfectly! You can control everything - shuffle, pause, etc - from your MP3 which is not possible when playing through the USB port. Thank you Sony!!!

QuestionDoes this unit have a port for a mic? Which mic do you recommend?

- Answer Actually 2 mic inputs. I don't have a recommendation for type of mic. I bought it in a pinch for a party and used one of the 2 mics. I went and grabbed a couple at Target that worked like a champ. I got mine at a great clearance price. Very much worth the money. Best of luck!
