A:AnswerWhen we purchased our TV and sound bar the technicians mounted both and connected the sound bar to the TV. When I had a problem, which wound up being a user error, a Geek Squad technician returned and quickly resolved the issue.
A:AnswerI too am not technically savvy. So, when ever I purchased a tv and a sound bar, I had the Geek Squad set it up. They’re really good at it. I also ask questions they readily answer.
A:AnswerI wouldn't hold my breath. From my experience they were scheduled to replace a receiver on a system they designed and after making an appointment with the Geek Squad and taking the day off work to meet with them for them to not show up or call was frustrating. When I finally reached someone in Customer Service to be told that I did indeed have an appointment but they forgot to convey that to the actual people doing the work we made another appointment. Again, I took the day off work and they never showed up. I made several phone calls and asked to speak to management and was told they would call me back. Instead a gentleman with very broken English called and wanted to walk me through installing a program onto my personal computer (a program which cost me $$) and when he repeatedly was unable to explain why and got very impatient with me I hung up and gave up.
To add insult to injury; this all happened in September 2020 and they charged my credit card for a job they never did in January of 2021. The nerve!
A:AnswerThe price was the same as them setting up my tv. Which I don’t think that’s right that you pay for both and that you have to pay for them to take your old tv.
A:AnswerI’m sure they would but you’ll probably have to pay. Did you get the extended warranty? Ask them but most likely it’s not going to be free. I don’t think any company does anything free now a days.
