QuestionDoes this product do full size plates? I've heard complaints about other counter top dishwashers that aren't able to fit 10.5 inch plates.

- Answer Yes it does and some pans too. I'm alone so I don't have a lot of dishes so I can fit some pans as well. This dishwasher works great. I absolutely love it. My kitchen counter is small so I have it on a cart and simply roll it over to the sink. Fits on the counter just fine but it took up too much of my work area so I bought a stainless cart an it worked out beautifully.

QuestionDoes this unit have a retractable hose? Also, is this the top of the line unit like this for SPT?

- Answer The SPT 2225 is as of 2019 the best countertop DW from SPT. This is the 2224, which is functionally almost identical. The hoses do not retract.

- Answer The quick connect hoses will connect to the adapter. The adapter screws into a American Standard Faucet. Most all homes have this type of faucet. If you have a pull down faucet, it will not work. No adapter is made.

- Answer Yes it will. The manual will explain what degree the water heats up to. Different cycles will heat water at different temperatures. Refer to the user guide for details.

- Answer Residual heating is when dishes are dried with the heat that has been formed during wash cycles. This is one of the best ways to dry dishes because it avoids the use of air from outside the dishwasher. Heat drying is when a heating element is used to dry dishes.

- Answer The pressure release button on the quick connect will release water from the faucet when dishwasher is in use. This red button is mainly used to release water pressure from the hose before disconnecting from the faucet.

QuestionPlease tell me more about the lines that connect. I am looking for a dishwasher that I can roll out of the way when not in use and just hook up the line to the faucet when using. I see it is not on rollers, but what about the hook up?

- Answer The dishwasher is designed sit on the countertop. You can use a sturdy microwave cart on wheels to move it around. The adapter and quick connect hose comes with the dishwasher for an easy connection to the faucet.

- Answer It will work, but for how long? A separate motor is used to discharge dirty water. When the dishwasher is underneath the sink, the pump will have to work harder to push water up hill. The warranty is voided when installing dishwasher this way.

- Answer If I understand your question correctly, when you plug in the dishwasher and the lights on the front panel blink through all the different cycles and doesn’t stop. This is not a normal operation of the unit. What might cause this to happen is water getting inside the control panel. The control panel is located inside the door. When loading or unloading the dishwasher, it’s important not to get water inside the latch or inside the buttons on the door. Most of the time and if water is not significant, it will dry up and dishwasher will work as normal. Leave it unplugged and wait a few days for water to evaporate. This is only a likely cause.

- Answer A better way to answer that question is to say the rack is about 25 percent smaller than a standard dishwasher rack. It only has one rack.

- Answer Not really because access to the kitchen faucet will be difficult and the dishwasher is not designed to pump water up hill on a serious incline.

- Answer Just plug it in and hook to the faucet. It's simple. Just make sure the hoses are tight and you won't have any problems. I love it!
