• My utilities are usually pretty low, anyway. But I think it only bumped up ~3-4 bucks a month

• Relatively inexpensive to run, far better than running Central Air in the House. Put the Unit where you need it the most (where you spend the most time and need the comfort). I live in the Mojave Desert, Triple Digit Heat all Summer Long and even into the first 6 weeks of the Fall, I have the Unit in my Western Side of the house-Family Room. It works great to keep us comfortable.
