• I think you are referring to the drainage. Once the internal container is full with condensed water, you have to drain it somewhere. You can do that with or without hose. Of course if you try it without hose, you have to move the unit outdoor or in appropriate room.

• The a/c comes with a hose that I connected to the middle one, placed a bucket for it to drain and got 4L of water in 6 hours . I had it set to auto .

• The top center is your drain outlet, the mid left is the drain outlet for heating models only and the bottom plug is the bottom tray drain outlet.
