They told me that the Geek Squad replacement for the PS4/PS5 model is the OLDER type of protection versus the one on the Xbox Wireless model. Supposedly, Best Buy internally is upgrading, and re-pricing Geek Squad protection plans. The PS4/PS5 model has the older, less effective protection plan ($69), while the newer plan ($129) offers the most protection against accidental issues. In the end, I ended up buying Total Tech Support ($199/year) as it makes all of my Geek Squad protection plans free. For just $70 more ($129 vs. $199), it's a way better offer in my opinion.
A:AnswerThere's 2 different "versions" of this headset. One is for certain consoles and the other is for other certain consoles. For whatever reason, this one seems to be more. They sell both, just find the other one. They all work withall modern consoles/PC etc.
