“I plan to install an outside camera at my front door. There is an outside light fixture that stays on 24/7 within 6-8 inches of where I plan to install. Will there be any glare or impaired vision as a result of placing camera that close to outside light?”

Each camera comes With an extendable shade visor, as long as you mount the camera below the light, you should be fine. I would connect your cables and do a dry run before you permanently mount your camera.
