Q: QuestionCan one system be hooked up in 3 different locations ? It would run on 3 different wifi signals. Do you sell this item individually or only as 4 cameras ?

• A:Answer Hi Dee. Yes, you can setup the cameras on different networks (and even different parts of the world) and view them all at the same time on the same Swann Security app account. We sell this camera in different pack options such as 1, 2 or 4-packs. The Swann website will have all our pack options if you cannot already find what you’re looking for on BestBuy. -SD, Swann team

Q: QuestionThis camera only supports motion detenction or I can uset it for continuous recording? Is internet required to access the local storage when the user is on the same network? (Wifi with no internet)

• A:Answer Hi LCRD. This camera only supports motion based recording as it is a battery powered device and so the battery would drain very quickly if it continuously recorded. You will need internet to access clips on the camera. If you wish to record continuously you would need one of our hard drive based DVR or NVR systems. Alternatively there are some mains powered WiFi cameras out there from other brands which may offer 24/7 cloud recording if you pay them a monthly subscription. -SD, Swann Team

This camera includes 1 day of free cloud storage and when you go to view clips under the Playback section of the Swann Security App, it is these cloud clips that you are seeing. You have the option of extending this cloud storage to 60 days via a monthly subscription to our Secure+ service. In addition this camera includes a large 32GB Micro SD Card to provide you with local storage on top of the cloud storage. The SD Card clips are also viewable via the app. -SD, Swann team

Q: Questionwhat is the wireless distance of this device? How far away can this device be to the wifi access point?

• A:Answer Hello speedyP, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.The Wi-Fi range can be up to 65ft / 20m but Wi-Fi signal can be reduced by many things around the home. Take into consideration the amount of walls the Wi-Fi signal must pass through and their construction. The more solid the building material or the more metal the signal must pass through the more impact it has on the Wi-Fi signal. Also take note of electrical equipment and other appliances that may affect the Wi-Fi signal. Some experimentation with locations may be required to get the optimal signal, check the signal strength in the app to give you a guide on the most suitable placement options. Q: QuestionIs this cam live all the time? I would like to have a monitor in my L.R. where I can see whats going on all of the time Does it have a battery in It ? I want at least 2 cams working at my house showing me live footage on a monitor in my L..R. Thanks
