Q: QuestionCan a recording be downloaded to a computer to save indefinitely?

• A:Answer Hi BlueEyes. Yes, there are a couple of methods to achieve this. The first is to insert a USB thumb drive into the NVR and then backup clips from the hard drive to the USB stick. From there you have a copy to save or share. Another method is to download clips to your smartphone using the Swann Security app, and then you can send or share them from your phone. -SD, Swann team

Q: QuestionConnecting the NVR to the cameras will require a Coaxial to Ethernet Adapter since it looks like it does not have a RJ-45 on the device?? Please advice.. thanks..

• A:Answer Hi Adrienne. Each camera in this system must be wired to the back of the NVR box via a network cable. We include one 60ft/18m cable for each camera in the box, but you can also purchase longer cables separately if you need a longer cable distance. Network cables can be run up to around 300ft (90m) without any loss in quality. -SD, Swann Product Management

Q: Questiondoes Swann sell or make extension cords for the Swann - Master Series 8-Channel, 8-Camera, Indoor/Outdoor PoE Wired 4K UHD 2TB HDD NVR Security Surveillance System? I have 2 areas that are not within the 60' capability of the cord.

• A:Answer Hi Jason. Yes, we sell extension cables for this system in either 100ft or 200ft lengths. Each extension cable also includes an adaptor to extend from your existing 60' cable if you wish to. The model codes are SWNHD-30MCAT5E (100') or SWNHD-60MCAT5E (200'). -SD, Swann team
