Q: QuestionHello, Do you recommend a managed POE router for this system or can the NVR power the cameras on their own? Also I see the unit comes with 100ft ethernet cable. What is the longest distance can they be away from the NVR? just wondering.

Q: QuestionIs it possible to purchase a DVR or "main frame" only without the cameras ? I have an 8 camera Swann system that was purchased 2 or 3 years ago that is no longer App supported for remote monitoring. I have tried un-installing and re-installing the App .

Q: QuestionOn this security set up what is the size of the box that is connected inside the house? trying to fit in a cupboard internet box .....length width and height thanks Janet Frank

- A:Answer 8 inches deep, 2 inches tall, 9 inches across. I have mine in the kitchen cabinet above the fridge. You must allow for wires in the back of the NVR. Wires take up extra 2 inches in the back of NVR. NVR is 10 inches deep with CAT5 wires.
