All depends if your outdated system has the same type of wiring than the new system. The new system comes with all the wiring you need to install the new cameras. The new system comes with a dual wire: one wire is BNC connector which connects the video signal from camera to your video receiver/DVR console. The second wire is the power to your camera (12 volts) Note: Each cable has a power connector that has to be connected to a power supply. there are different configurations of power supplies but your new system should provide enough power leads for all the cameras that came with the new system. As far as connecting 4 wireless cameras the short answer is "Yes". But you will need to configure your system with a wireless router which will be connected to your camera receiver?DVR via Ethernet cable. The you need to configure your system to recognize the wireless router. Then you need to Configure Swann's software to recognize and set the wireless cameras.
