A:AnswerThis bike has only one gear. It really wears you out. Also note that the assisted levels, except level 1, require you to pedal constantly to remain activated. That means that you must pedal all out at 20 mph for it to remain active. At that speed even though it’s not hard pedaling, you still must pedal really fast if you want the assist feature to continue to work. A serious flaw in design in my opinion. In short, there is no cruising pedal speed with levels 2 & 3 of assistance mode. Hope this helps. I will be returning this bike ASAP.

A:AnswerExtreme temperatures have a negative impact on any battery’s lifespan and performance, although the bike would still be usable. I wouldn’t recommend using 700c tires in the snow, as the contact area is too small to get good traction in wintry conditions.
A:AnswerHey! The handlebars are not adjustable for the VOLT however you can adjust the seat height. For more information on assembly instructions please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll be more than happy to help you out!
A:AnswerHey! The VOLT currently only comes in one size which is recommended for riders 5'10" and up. The maximum weight is 220 lbs. Let us know if you have any other questions, we're here to help!
A:Answer+1... how is it possible to produce bikes without fenders/mud-guards? Even if one is riding on the road (and not a muddy pathway), one still needs protection from rain puddles and random pebbles being lifted up by the tires.
