- Answer Yes you can watch and charge at the same time. Had the player a few months now and battery life is pretty good - able to watch two movies and still not be drained.

- Answer I have to use the earphones and the best quality earphones at that. The other thing about it is the loading times for the DVD is lengthy, but maybe they are all that way.

- Answer If movie is still in player will not play if lid open only plays when lid is closed! Have to shut off if lid closed or it will continue to play.
