“I sometimes listen to movies when trying to sleep my last dvd would continue to play when the lid was closed. Can I to this or does it shut off when closed? Thank you”

If movie is still in player will not play if lid open only plays when lid is closed! Have to shut off if lid closed or it will continue to play.
