- Answer Sorry, I can't answer regarding the Onkyo receiver...don't have one. However, the dual fan chill mat fan is so quiet that when I first plugged it in, I couldn't even hear it. I had to look at it to make sure it was working, and then I saw the 2 fans turning. Extremely quiet. Will not bother you.

- Answer These fans operate at a much higher speed than 2 rpm. I believe that there is some kind of mistake in the product specifications.
