Hi. Yes, you can just swap your active SIM card and start using the phone. The only thing that you need to do is to add CDMA-LESS feature to your account. You might have to call Verizon customer service to add this to your account, if you're not getting text messages. The reason is that you might be on a CDMA type phone before and your phone is getting the text messages from the Verizon server. Now that you're on a CDMA-LESS phone, Verizon customer service will add this feature to your account for receiving text messages.
