QuestionI currently have the tcl alto 5+ soundbar (w/subwoofer) and am going to replace it with the alto 6. Can I keep my original subwoofer to go with the new alto 6 or would I have to buy the 6+ if I want the subwoofer?

- Answer The subwoofers are specifically designed to be used with the soundbar it comes with. The Alto 5+ soundbar will not work with the Alto 6. You would need to get the Alto 6+ if you want a subwoofer. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

- Answer Personally I like the hdmi cable set up. If you use hdmi you can easily turn off the sound bar and use the tv speakers if you don’t want to wake up anyone else, and you can easily turn it back on and switch from Bluetooth use. I personally did not like the optical cable as much, however I don’t have much experience or knowledge with using optical cable like this, the optical cable seemed very fragile and I did not like that.

QuestionWhen reading the instructions, "5c" says to Connect Sound Bar with an AUX cable. The AUX cable does NOT come with the TV. Is it necessary to use this for the Sound Bar to function. The instructions are confusing since I am not a techy.

- Answer I have connected the sound bar, subwoofer, and TV to the power supply, and then connected the sound bar to the HDMI ARC port of the TV with a cable. The purple light flashes on the sound bar to indicate that HDMI is connected, but the sound bar is still not connected sound.

QuestionMy sound bar stopped working. Only the sub works and it is intermittent. Also now It will not connect to my TCL TV. It worked fine recently. Even connected Bluetooth has the same issue. Any suggestions?
