- Answer This TCL Alto soundbar is not currently designed to be controlled by other third-party remotes. However, if your Xfinity remote is programmed to control your TV and your TV supports CEC, you should be able to control the volume with your Xfinity remote. Hope this helps! Question40 watts doesn't sound like much. I have a computer speaker that has 40 and turned up full volume, you can't hear it from another room. Do you have an audio sample of this speaker?

QuestionWill this sound bar connect to a Hisense 65r7 tv and can you turn it off and on with TV remote ?

- Answer Hi Justme2, The sound bar can connect a few different ways. You can connect to your TV via the included optical/toslink cable or the included HDMI cable. If your TV has the ARC function on one of its HDMI ports, you can connect the soundbar that way and then you can use your TV remote to turn the soundbar on and off and control the volume. You can use the optical/toslink cable to connect to your TV as well, but then you would have to use the controller that comes with the sound bar to adjust the settings on the soundbar. I hope this helps!
