• A:Answer The outlet on my wall is about 44 inches and my refrig is about an inch from the wall. The inch is required because there is a white "control" box about 4" X 6" at the lower end of the rear panel of the refrig that effectively prevents the unit being right up against the wall which I am not sure you would want anyway. My unit is near a door, so the framing of the door extends about half an inch from the wall which gives the appearance that the unit is snug against the wall. BTW, great refrig.
