Hello Interestedcook, thank you for your interest in model SGSXP365TS. To clean the stainless steel base, you will need to use Nonabrasive Cleaner plus dish soap and hot water. You will want to rinse and dry immediately as well as immediately clean after cooking. You can refer to pages 23 and 24 of the use & care guide for additional information.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My additional question is how easy is it to clean if the inevitable grease get "cooked on". I'm not a meticulous house keeper and I would not have time to clean the base after every meal. Plus when my husband cooks, the stove top is a mess!
