• A:Answer Hello Interestedcook, thank you for your interest in model SGSXP365TS. To clean the stainless steel base, you will need to use Nonabrasive Cleaner plus dish soap and hot water. You will want to rinse and dry immediately as well as immediately clean after cooking. You can refer to pages 23 and 24 of the use & care guide for additional information.

Per the installation instructions, connect the gas supply line to the unit pressure regulator using a 1/2” flex gas line connector between manual shut-off valve and pressure regulator. Always use a new flex line.

Q: QuestionAre the knobs made of plastic or metal? The Thermador cooktop we currently have has plastic knobs. While one of them broke, I called Thermador to purchase a replacement but it would cost me $75 for one. It's ridiculously.
