- Answer The connector on the fans will unfortunately only connect to the provided control box that comes with the fans. However the provided control box has a standard 4-pin connector you find on all motherboards and fan controllers. On the motherboard just look for something that says SYS FAN, or OPT FAN, these are usually keyed with a plastic tab by 3 of the 4 pins on the connector

QuestionWhy is the model number wrong? There is no "-C" variant anywhere on the internet except best buy. I suppose this is so they don't have to price match anyone else because Amazon has this same kit for $30.

- Answer These are proprietary 5 pin fans, the control box that comes with the 3 pack fans has a standard 4-pin connector, so fans to the control box, control box to the motherboard fan connector..

- Answer The fan kit comes with a fan controller. The fan controller connects to any standard 4-pin fan header on your motherboard. All the fans then connect back to the fan controller using a proprietary connector.

- Answer This has a nice hub that all the fans connect to and one cable that plugs into 3pin fan header on mobo. Very easy setup.

- Answer They have their own fan controller, however you plug that into the motherboard and it can raise it lower the speed of the fans according to temperature
