Hi there! If the dash cam is properly hardwired, it will not drain your car battery. Like the rest of our models, the F50 has several features to prevent battery drainage in Parking Surveillance Mode such as a built-in voltmeter and Off-Voltage setting, which prompts shutdown if voltage levels drop below the pre-set threshold.
