- Answer No video surveillance on the sides. This cable is used in order to let the camera continues to record after you park your car. If you want a back record you need to buy a back camera.

QuestionI bought the x350 dash cam . Does the hardwiring cable work for this unit? If not, Where can I buy the hardwiring to fit this dash cam x350? So why does Best Buy sell these units and not have the hardwiring? So frustrating! Makes no sense!

- Answer I did pay 100$ for front, back and battery cable. If you install only front camera without cable it should be 70$

QuestionDoes it work with F800? 17' jeep grand Cherokee fuse box is under the hood. Another question about f800, my cigarette lighter has power even when vehicle is off, if I just use the basic connection will the camera shut off once battery voltage hits limit?

- Answer Hi Tim! This hardwiring cable is compatible with the F800. Please note that the off-voltage feature is only enabled when the dash cam is hardwired for Parking Surveillance Mode. We highly do not recommend that you power on the dash cam continuously overnight, as it risks draining your car battery and damaging the dash cam. The Thinkware Hardwiring Cable is different from the 12V power cable included with your initial purchase; it is used to install the dash cam directly to the fuse box and enable Parking Surveillance Mode.
