A:AnswerParking mode is the mode that does what your asking not night mode. But parking mode will only work if wire to a constant 12v power source. And the way it works is it has 2 folders when active. It has a continuous video folder that will record till full then erase the oldest file then record over it. But during parking if it sees an insident like movement or something hit the car it will put that in a separate folder that it will not overwrite. It will also tell you when that folder is full. I installed it right between the cameras (behind the rearview mirror) and ran the cable in the crease between the windshield and plastic around the left camera. I have been driving with it for a month now and I have had absolutely no issues with the EyeSight features.
A:AnswerI've never seen the cable at BestBuy. At BestBuy, my Q800 came with both the hardwire cable plus the 12v accessory cable in the box. The F800 and Q800 do share the same cable. It's also available at blackboxmycar website as well as the thinkware website.
