No! I am very happy with TiVo no need for cable with all the free streaming and free antenna channels

This is an OTA DVR. As in "Live Over the Air with an Antenna". That's what OTA means. So this device Will Not Work With a Cable Card. You would need to buy the standard TiVo Bolt for that. Hope this helps.

If you purchase the TIVO BOLT OTA, which means Over The Air - not cable, you will not need a cable card to use it. In fact you should not be able to install a cable card on that unit. If you wish to use a TIVO Bolt with cable you will need a unit designed for cable. You can ask your Best Buy staff as to which unit you need or go to tivo.com and search for the information you want or give them a call at the sales number listed at the TIVO web site and they will tell you.
