- Answer Amazon doesn't support cast function because Chromecast competes with Amazon Fire TV. Though you can always mirror video and audio of entire Android phone or Windows. The catch is you have to keep your phone or Windows machine up and running. With Chrome browser, you can further choose to cast a single tab only.

- Answer It is possible to order the remote directly from Toshiba. Not certain the cost of replacement. Personally, I've hardly used the remote that the TV came with. I either use my Logitech Harmony remote, or the remote app on my smartphone. These are all viable alternatives.

- Answer The Smart TV label comes strictly from the built in Chromecast. There is not a dedicated internet browser or interface for apps. I have personally found, however, that streaming from my smartphone has been more than sufficient for my needs.

QuestionI don't want my TV connected to the web. I see that some issues go away when setting up Chromecast. If I install it and later disconnect the wifi, will these issues remain?

- Answer One time setup. I did mine with a hotspot just to get it done. It's not on wifi now and it doesn't do all that auto stuff like in the beginning.

QuestionThe tv is about 3 days old. Sporadically, I get a blank screen and normal audio when turned on. If I turn it off and back on, it turns on properly. Any suggestions? Should I take it back? Thanks.

QuestionI bought the TV, installed it and when I turn if off when I go to bed the red led turns on and I assume the TV is in a sleep mode as opposed to a complete power turn off. Every morning usually after 3 AM, the sound turns on with the red led still on

- Answer Unfortunately, this Toshiba does not have any sort of Internet browser. Nor does it have any sort of interface to access applications. The key to streaming on this model, is the built in Chromecast. As for inputs, there are 3 HDMI ports, optical audio, composite video and audio, VGA, USB, and coaxial.

QuestionAssuming you have the Chromecast startup screen disabled, when you turn on the TV how long before you can change the input you are using? My current TV takes ~6-7 seconds and it is annoying when trying to use a universal remote.

- Answer I feel as if its almost immediate I also have a roku hooked to the tv and i dont even need the remote to change inputs I hit a button on the roku and it automatically changes input I like that feature

- Answer Wirelessly, no. However, there is a cable you can buy that will connect from your Mac to the HDMI/USB port on the T.V! I had the same issue but I know they sell the connection at Best Buy for less than $20.

- Answer USB has limited functional abilities as the downloadable manual indicates. To play hard drive movies, use the HDMI port and a device such as a wdtv box.
