“Has anyone had any trouble with the "click of death"? My #1 fear for getting this hard drive, or any hard drive, is the click of death. It's happened to me before after dropping it from my desktop and I lost some files that were super important to me, so I just want to be cautious. So, has this happened to you using this drive? How did it happen? If so, please explain in detail! If you have any tips on how to prevent it from happening please feel free to let me know as well! xo”

I've had it for about 8 months now with no issues, and travel with it quite a bit, just throw it in my bag and go. It has a small indentation from something sharp (really not sure what did it) but still have no issues, so has shown reliability for me.
