- Answer Try connecting to a different USB port. Ensure that the drive is not damaged by connecting onto a different PC. IF the issue still persists try restarting your mac and check if it works.

QuestionHas anyone had any trouble with the "click of death"?My #1 fear for getting this hard drive, or any hard drive, is the click of death. It's happened to me before after dropping it from my desktop and I lost some files that were super important to me, so I just want to be cautious. So, has this happened to you using this drive? How did it happen? If so, please explain in detail! If you have any tips on how to prevent it from happening please feel free to let me know as well! xo

- Answer I've had it for about 8 months now with no issues, and travel with it quite a bit, just throw it in my bag and go. It has a small indentation from something sharp (really not sure what did it) but still have no issues, so has shown reliability for me.

QuestionPutting Windows-7 on this external hard driveI have Windows Vista on my laptop, but want to upgrade to Windows 7. Some of my programs are not compatable with Windows 7 so I want to install Windows 7 on this external hard drive, keeping Vista on the internal drive. Will this idea work? I already purchsed this product but do have 30 days to return if I need to (probably should have thought of this question first!) Thanks for the help!
