I replaced the HDD also. You have to pop the little tabs on the strips or they don't go back in right. What I did was after changing the HDD, I cloned the original drive to the new one so I can do a factory restore if I want. Not sure how to renistall Windows any other way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The two strips are two cables connecting IO board with the mother board. I think one is for the USB port and the other is for HDMI port. If they are not set properly, your USB (the one next to the HDMI port on the right side) or HDMI port will not work. I don't think it has anything to do with computer freezing.
