I don't believe you can, but go for it. Upgrade it anyways, up to 32GB, and keep your old sticks somewhere safe in case you do need to send it in for a warranty repair you can put the old sticks back in. They don't have any tape covering the RAM sticks that would void the warranty. However if you were to completely disassemble certain other parts deeper, they do have tape that would void the warranty. If you replaced your RAM, just be careful of an ESD. Warranty won't cover Electro Static Discharges regardless. Upgrade away!
