“How many slots? Went to BB today and bought 4 Gigs of memory to go with the 4 that I have. Was told that there was 2 slots which there's not in my C55. Got to reading online and someone had said that Toshiba would have to do it and it could be over $300. Would appreciate any replies.”

If you think you can do this yourself without damaging your laptop, you will need a 0 x 2-1/2 Phillips head screwdriver and a small flat head screwdriver. And watch this video. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately it comes with 1 slot. If you want to upgrade the RAM to 8GB, you can find some great deals on line for about $80. Make sure you buy the DDR3L, not just the DDR3. And get the 1666 MHZ if available.
