We have had the same type of laptop for a couple of months and have not had the same issue with the charger. Our charger barley warms up at all and we have the charge plugged in continuously and plug in the laptop every evening to charge. I would definitely suggest taking it in to be looked at.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When I charge my laptop my charger gets alittle hot,but the charger cools down after a full charge..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use the Toshiba Eco utility. If you keep your computer plugged in all the time then its use will protect your battery over time. The Eco utility will keep the battery at 80% when plugged in and using the laptop. Your performance and power settings will have an impact as well. The battery is not designed to be ran down then charged. It could, but the performance of the battery will not be extended by such practice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you mean to hot to touch or just pretty warm. Mine gets fairly warm but not so much it worries me. They make these bricks smaller these days so they just don't dissipate the heat as well. If you mean almost too hot to hold on to I would contact the store.
