- Answer It doesn't include service days, so your phone has to remain active. But the texts themselves do not expire, as long as you have service days remaining. I'm not sure how long you have after purchasing the card to add it to your account. I have heard up to one year, but do not have experience testing this.

Questionhas the $5/1000 text ad-on card program been opened up to trac phone customers with an orbic flip phone???? If not. why??? Seems silly that only smart phones apply!!!! Why not just emulate scratch off pin numbers like the 60/90 minute cards???????

- Answer I just purchased Tracfone text cards from Best Buy. They came in the mail to my home address, and I had to load them after I received them. So the answer is "Yes", you can get them from Best Buy, but it takes a few days to receive the cards and then you have to load them yourself.
