“Will this phone work once the services all switch to 5g? I currently have a LG800G that I believe is 3g and will become obsolete in February 2022. I am just looking for a phone I can buy, keep my phone number, and transfer my minutes / plan life.”

The wireless technology for this TracFone LG Classic Flip phone is 4G/4G LTE (CDMA, WCDMA). 4G/4G LTE phones will work on the current network and 5G network. This phone just won't get the 5G speed. You must have a 5G-capable phone to access the 5G network. Thank you.
