QuestionMy husband just wants a phone you can turn on, make your call and shut off. Doess this phone do that like the first cell phones that came out???

- Answer Yes it does. It is a very good basic phone. I bought mine for the same reason, mostly make phone calls and I also send a few text messages and that is it. This phone runs on the Verizon side of Tracfone, so I get very good service where I'm at. I have had no problems with it.b If you are looking for just a basic phone I would get this LG instead of the Myflip. The Myflip phones run KaiOS on which you can download apps to the phone and do a lot of other internet kinda of stuff.

- Answer No. It is my husband's flip phone. We buy him a year's service plan for $ $99. It includes 1200 minutes (we have the double plan. He uses less than 400 minutes per year and the extra minutes roll over to next yea. He will never run out of minutes. Great plan for someone who uses it so little.

The instruction on how to locate it follows. 1 From the Home screen, press Send key to view your call logs. 2 Use Navigation key to scroll left/right to display your call records by call type: • All calls: All calls that you missed, received, and dialed. • Missed calls: Calls you did not answer. • Dialed calls: Outgoing calls. • Received calls: Answered calls and rejected calls.

- Answer lg classic flip operates by custom AOSP 8.1..no google software installed. User CANNOT install apps...unless you use ADB commands to load custom modified .apk files to phone via computer, and it's hit or miss getting them to function properly.

Questioni read on a review of this phone, that it doesnt have caller id, you have to answer the call before it shows the number ?

- Answer It has a primitive caller ID if you take the time and enter your contacts into the address book. When you flip the phone open you see who is calling you based on whether or not they are in your contacts, otherwise it shows as unknown. you can then accept the call or reject it. I believe you can change this setting to enable the phone to automatically answer a call when you open the phone, but then you lose the ability to see who is calling you. The outer screen is tiny and only notifies you if you are receiving a call, text or voicemail. Hope this helps!

- Answer The LG Classic Flip (LG L125DL) is with 4G LTE technology which is anticipated to be accessible for at least 10 years. Your mom's phone is 3G and that is going obsolete in February. I purchased the the Classic Flip to replace my 3G phone and am satisfied with the functionality which I use for only text and voice. It does have a camera, and the fonts are more legible than those on my previous phone. I didn't find a 5G flip phone, but don't need one.
