Absolutely! The MEATER Plus works great in a Big Green Egg, as long as you use it correctly. It’s designed to handle the heat inside enclosed grills, smokers, and ovens — including ceramic cookers like the Egg. Just make sure: • The probe is fully inserted past the “safety line” into the meat (so the internal sensor stays protected). • The ambient end of the probe doesn’t exceed 527 °F (275 °C). • The wooden charging block stays outside the grill — it’s not heat-resistant. Plenty of Big Green Egg owners use the MEATER Plus successfully for brisket, ribs, and steaks. It gives spot-on readings and syncs perfectly through the ceramic shell thanks to its extended Bluetooth range.
