A:AnswerGOOD LUCK WITH THAT - I HAD TO CALL THEM 3 TIMES TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO SET UP MY NEW 65 INCH Q80D TV - THEY FAILED TO SHOW UP AS SCHEDULED SO I REQUESTED A REFUND AND THEY GAVE IT TO ME - I GOT MY $199 BACK - BUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS NOT GOOD AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE GEEK SQUAD -
A:AnswerYes Geek Squad comes to your house after you order.a sales rep can come out to your house and set up your installation and what is needed to make sure your installation goes as planned.
A:AnswerI'm not sure, but if you've purchased a Best Buy Tech support service, they may, but I don't know if they'd do it for older TVs that are not purchased through BB. I suspect that they'll do it for a charge, ask them. Go to: https://www.bestbuy.com/services/remotesupport?utm_campaign=GS%20-%20MRI&utm_source=Calling%20Card%20Desktop%20App&utm_medium=Connect%20With%20An%20Agent%20Button
and chat with them with your specific questions. They'll direct you as to what they can do for you, I'm sure.
A:AnswerI don't know if Best Buy will just deliver for less cost. The TV I bought for my brother was only a 40 inch one that cost $229 and I thought that the $149 fee for installation was ridiculous. The $25 haul-away fee was OK since that is what they charge to recycle old TVs and Monitors at the store.
A:AnswerHi Ray. Thank you for your question! If you purchased a TV install service, whether connecting and mounting or just setup, then we will. If not, we can if you would like. We would need to add that service on prior to the appointment. To get started, please call us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 to provide us with more information so we can best take care of you.
A:AnswerI just order my 55 in TV on-line and the Geek Squad set up my new TV to my cable box and they took away my old 55 in TV with them. Geek Squad are fantastic, clean and they know what their doing. It can be pricey for there services but it's sooo worth it. Goodluck
A:AnswerI don't work for Geek Sq, but several factors should be considered. Is there an attic above? This would greatly aid the electrical question. Another question, what type ceiling do you have? This will aid in determining the type of anchoring you'll need. The weight of the unit should also be factored into the equation. If electrical can't be run consider wall mounted wire channels similar to the channels used to hide wires n cables for wall mounted TVs. These conduits are paintable so you can at least blend it into ur decor. Remember all things are possible if u employ 'outside the box's thinking.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out about this and sorry for the slow response! The service we would need would be a "TV Connect and Mounting" to get it set up and mounted. I hope this helps! Please let us know if you need any help.
A:AnswerYou apparently have a misconnect between your remote and the TV. Calling for tech support and having a set-up walk-through should readily solve your problem.
A:AnswerHi there. Thank you for taking time to reach out to us for that. We would want to add those notes for the service. Please give us a call at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 as soon as you can so we can add information to the order. Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out about this. We're sorry about the late response. We can absolutely come out there, install the TV, install smart devices that integrate with Amazon Alexa to control it and help him understand the set up. To get started with this, I'd recommend connecting with the local Best Buy to get the appointment created. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
