Q: QuestionGreat unit, but has anyone had any luck finding a wall charger for these units? Noting in directions or on sites. Uniden says there is a charging base, but it is made by a 3rd party, doesn't know the maker or the model number. I find this rather strange.
Asked by DS.
- A:Answer Ours came with a base unit set up for a USB port. We took the universal wall plug end from one of our phone charges. Worked just fine.

Q: QuestionI am also looking for a manual, bought these for a senior and would like a manual , i can not seem to find one online
Asked by Tara.
- A:Answer I did a search on Uniden for the model SX307-3C and got zero results. Humm. A search online didn’t help. If I was you I’d call the local store and ask them. I think I’ll buy them and if not happy with the promised range return them. Good luck.

Q: QuestionUniden Two Way Radio SX307-3C offers 15 GMRS channels. Uniden says does not require an FCC license. The FCC says if unit is less than 2watts, then it does NOT require an FCC license. I cannot find any Wattage output for this device.
Asked by TMP.
- A:Answer The FCC rules changed in 2017 so that handheld radios using FRS/GMRS frequencies all became EITHER an FRS or a GMRS radio, using essentially the same frequencies. It cannot be marketed as both and cannot be sold as FRS if it has an output capable of more than 2 watts, making it a GMRS unit, by definition. It's difficult to tell what actual output these radios have, without your own bench test results. However, if it's not being SOLD as GMRS, then rest assured it's not over 2 watts.
