A:AnswerThe easiest way is to use a VHS player that has a counter that shows the duration of tape playback. You can basically start with your rewound tape in the VHS player and the counter zeroed out at 00:00:00 (not negative numbers which can be possible). Then fast forward the tape to the end of the playable content to note the total runtime. Then you can rewind the tape and set the appropriate Recording Time.
