- Answer This functionality isn't guaranteed for all cable companies. It depends on their IR codes. You might be able to program that remote to control this soundbar.

Questiondo the upward firing atmos speakers function during music streaming, because i had read somewhere that they don't, that they only work with an atmos movie signal.

QuestionCan this soundbar be part of a group through the Google Home App and play simultaneous with other speakers? I know it can do it using the Vizio App but I need to do it through the Google Home App. Thank you

QuestionWill upfiring speakers be impacted by being under tv

- Answer If there is anything between the soundbar and the ceiling of your room then it will impact the Dolby Atmos sound effects. The upward firing speakers fire up and forward from the soundbar to bounce off your ceiling and down to where you are sitting. As a result you shouldn't have anything directly above the soundbar. The soundbar should be placed slightly forward from the television.

- Answer Yes but I am not sure of the duration. I believe it specifies the duration in the owner's manual. I will have to check.

QuestionWhat is the maximum distance you can position the subwoofer away from the soundbar without affecting the wireless connection? Do you also need to connect the optical cable in addition to the HDMI ARC cable? Can I connect the DVD player to the soundbar?

- Answer You don't have to connect optical if you are using arc. Yes you can connect a DVD player to the sound bar. I chose not to because it wasn't playing in Atmos just Dolby digital. I ran thru the tv and it now plays as Atmos. Could be the 4k Blu Ray player not sure. I have the sub woofer 15 feet away and it works fine.

QuestionMy tv is equipped with eARC. I’ve read that atmos needs eARC to function correctly. When I try to run sb36312 with eARC on I get no sound, but works fine on ARC. To get real Dolby atmos do I need to upgrade this sound bar to one that will work with eARC?

- Answer I’m not exactly sure of the wattage, but it certainly produces deep rich bass for its compact size. I’ve owned 4 different sound bars from Sony to Samsung and Yamaha. This one has by far the best bass.
