“Is there a reset button on this TV ? The screen is black and power is on”

• To reset the TV you unplug the power cable, and hold down the power/input button behind the lower left corner of the screen. After 30 seconds the device resets.

• Then you need to check your settings. You are either on the wrong input mode or you accidentally clicked on the blank the screen mode. I recommend downloading the manual from the VIZIO web side. Better than the guide that comes with the TV. Clicking on the menu button will usually return the video back on as long as you are in the correct input mode.
