Yep. Much better color saturation, scaling, blacks, and motions. Skip the D and E series. These are the highly "discounted" units to get people to buy bigger tv's. They are even successfully selling D model 4k 55,65, and 70 tvs with a lousy 120hz refresh rate. With a tv that size and supposed 4k resolution you need a minimum of 240hz refresh rate to minimize the blurring with any motion on the screen. So, um... yep. Stick with the M-series. Pay the $200 or so extra. This way you won't be trying to buy a new TV again in 3 years. They are doing with TV's what they have done with our phones, tablets, laptops, and computers. Keeping us buying the newest "greatest" product every 6-24 months.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the D-Series and returned it for the M-Series. The M-series has a much better picture and you do not see the led lights. On mine, I could see it around the edges of the panel and it was annoying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the D series myself and checked the M series out in the store. I don't notice a difference. The picture quality is absolutely amazing on the D series.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought a d and m series. Picture is better on the m series and the m series remote has a qwerty keyboard on the backof the remote which my kids love for taking adantage of the smart functions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't noticed any difference. You do have to play with the video settings to get this tv to look good, but after you do it has a great pic for the price. As for LED panels, don't put too much stock in that, Visio is the only one that even mentions that in specs.
