I have this tv and it is terrific. 5-6 different preset picture options. No reason to fiddle with settings. Picture depth, color and ability to handle motion is unmatched. You need a sound bar to enjoy the audio. I bought a Vizio, so one remote runs both. Suggestion, Buy the 2.1 sound bar. The mid range speaker is worth every penny. So if you want to spend the money, get a 2160 ( might as well stay ahead of the tech curve), and enjoy it. Set up took 5 minutes. The tv tells you what to do.

I would suggest this TV to be your next buy. I am sure glad I did.

This D-series TV is a Black Friday only set which means it won't be made anymore after this. You can tell it was rushed together on the cheap just for that purpose. The one I purchased had several problems with it. I returned it and got the M and am much happier with it. The M-series is a quality product that Vizio makes year round and gets excellent reviews all around on every internet site.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, look for one with 32 or more active LED zones and true 240hz refresh rate. The size of this TV is prone to have blurring issues with 120hz. It says it has 240 "clear action". But that is a marketing trick. It is only 120hz. Which would be fine if this was less than 40'. But combine the super crisp 4k with 120hz and you really haven't upgraded your experience. Also look into the 14 active LED zones. Most TV's of this caliber have more than double the active LED zones. Pay the little extra for a unit with 240hz and the best LED array. Unless you are one who upgrades every year. Then, as you know, the prices will go down as the newer products become cheaper to manufacture. As far as I know, the D and E series are the lower end units. The M series it their top tier units. I have an E 55 model and it is so sloooowwww to turn on, switch channels, and well, everything is slow. It was exchanged due to this and the new one takes her time too. We live with it because it has a better picture than an identically equipped Sony. The VIZIO was on sale so we thought to buy it for the rec room 2011. Ended up putting the Sony in the rec room because the picture on the Vizio was better. Cheers!
