QuestionI just bought the Vizio 55” OLED TV. The picture quality does not look as clear and vivid as it did at Best Buy? What am I doing wrong?!

- Answer You may need to calibrate the picture settings to your liking. Vizio offers several built-in picture modes in the picture settings menu, as well as the option to calibrate the settings directly. There are many online tutorials which describe proper calibration for the tv, and vizio provides built-in calibration patterns in the onboard virtual user manual. The problem also may be with the content you are watching. Colorful, High resolution HDR content will look better than SDR content. TV through a cable box usually isn’t HDR or 4K. If you’re watching on Netflix or a similar streaming platform, look for HDR or Dolby Vision in the video description.

QuestionMy Yamaha home theater receiver died and my TV is obsolete. I’m seeking a 55 inch smart TV comparable with Apple TV 64Gb 4K HD, Apple Music, Apple Air Play 2 that can connect to my Paradigm left, right, center speakers and subwoofer. Please advise.

- Answer This tv has airplay built-in as well as an Apple TV app, so it supports most of the features you mentioned. It will not play games natively like the Apple TV does, but you could always purchase an Apple TV device and connect it if that’s what you’re looking for. The tv supports audio over HDMI, 3.5mm auxiliary cables, and optical audio, so I imagine it will connect to your Paradigm system.

- Answer The spectrum app is not available on this tv. It does support screen-mirroring from a mobile device however, so that may work for you instead.

QuestionHi. I'm looking at a 55" to replace a defective Samsung RU8000 in our bedroom. It gets used about 3 hours a day. Most of the time is watching the news. Am I asking for trouble with burn-in? Thanks

QuestionI have Bose solo soundbar. I have connected to dig audio out but it no workie. I have to get something to help with the volume. Picture is really nice, want to use existing device. Only one plug, not sure how I fouled that up.

QuestionI am having issues with signal on HDMI1 input. It does not detect the signal. Yet, I can plug the same HDMI cable into a Samsung 36", five year old television, and the signal is fine using the same cable. Latest firmware is loaded. Suggestions?

- Answer This TV is not designed to output audio over Bluetooth. You could purchase a Bluetooth transmitter and connect it to this TV to listen over Bluetooth.
