You can google some forums on TV settings but they aren't always the best for your own viewing environment. I had to play with the personal setting mode until I got the picture settings for the room and my personal preferences.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used xbox one's tool to calibrate my TV. Once calibrated, it was excellent. Try it if you have one. If you are going to spend 250.00$ for geek squad, I rather buy an xbox one.

There are a few message boards and websites that specialize in optimized settings for each specific set. I'd try some of those first. Then possibly purchase one of the calibration dvd's. 250 seems like a lot and I wouldn't have much faith in GeekSquad being competent. but its better than having a set you don't like. Are you using HDMI chords and the HD cable channels?
