Q: QuestionCan I use the headphone jack and the tv's speakers at the same time or does the use of the headphone jack (or the digital audio output jack) turn off the tv speakers?

Q: QuestionThe TV is extremely bright. Is there a way to turn this down or find a proper setting I don’t know about? I’ve gone through game mode, vivid and stuff like that but it doesn’t really help much. Am I missing something? It’s way too bright for me.

• A:Answer Yes, I noticed this as well especially at night in a darkened room. If “Calibrated DARK” setting isn’t dark enough for you then go into advanced setting and lower the BACKLIGHT down below 50% then play around with the brightness and other settings. You can also set the automatic Ambient light sensor to “On” which will adjust to the room light and should still give a beautiful picture but without the painful brightness.

• A:Answer FWIW, there are recent comments on the rtings review that say newer builds of this same model came with IPS displays. Amazon lists it as the J03 version, although listed with the J01 model number too. So... IDK.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know - for sure - if the eARC HDMI port will support video content playing at the higher 120Hz refresh rate? I assume it would, but... The 3rd HMDI port does NOT have the 120Hz label on it... I am concerned the eARC port might also limit to 60
