QuestionIn Menu/Select-Dial Mode-the screen does not show Tone or Pulse. Also no dial tone. Other handsets work ok.

- Answer To find the DIAL MODE option, first you have to get to >Settings, then press MENU again, then scroll to >Dial Mode. Customer support is @ 1-800-595-9511.

- Answer You have to manually enter the phone numbers in the Directory through the Add Contact. This phone can hold 50 contacts.

QuestionLight sleeper. Does this phone have a function where you can mute the incoming messages? (Answering service is through my cable package.) When I wake up, I pick up the phone and I get a beep alerting me that I have a message.

- Answer CS6419-2 does not feature an answering system. You are using your cable provider's answering system (called VOICEMAIL), so you wouldn't hear your callers as they leave you messages. You can silence the handset ringer if you want total quiet, using the handset MENU.

QuestionWill the handset work with my existing CS6522 system? We have bases but no longer have working extensions to go with the one that does work with base set. I can't find the extensions anywhere that are CS6522. Hate to have to buy a whole new system.

- Answer Luz - CS6419-2 is engineered and approved for North American networks using 110v AC. Caller ID is FSK. CS6419-2 does not feature an answering system.

- Answer As the CS6419-2 does not feature an answering system, perhaps you have VOICEMAIL from your provider; in which, case, contact your provider for instructions on how to use their voicemail service.

Questioninterference between same brand or modelsso we live a apartment type place and a lot of others have this brand name phone, if not the same type of phone model. sometimes we get a lot of interference or a few dropped calls. is this from the brand of phone or would it just always happen because of where we live?

- Answer CS6429 series has an answering system, not CS6419. On CS6429 series, any system handset can be used to play messages.
