QuestionI have the Vtech 18445 we currently have a console and 2 desk set and 3 handheld but we have an office that the signal does not reach so a purchased another console to plug in, and added a handset to the new console is there any way to link them

QuestionAm I able to connect two main consoles to the same lines instead of the wireless accessory consoles. The accessory console won’t connect because it is too far from the main console so I would like to hard wire them together.

QuestionWhen I transfer a call on my CM18445 to a CM18245 it still says its on line 1. How do I change it so that when the transfer is made that the main line #1 will still be open for calls.

- Answer Hi - The VTech CM18445 does not have a feature that can transfer a call to a different line. You need to subscribe to the service from your telephone service provider for it to work. The transfer capability of the phone system will only enable you to transfer calls to a system extension using the same line. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionWe have the vtech CM18045 4 line system and one of the handsets has on the display "M.Box space low" even though all messages have been deleted. How can I fix?

- Answer For anyone who stumbles across this searching for how to fix it, this worked for me: Make sure there is at least one old message; if not, record one for yourself and play it to make it old. Then press ANS SYS, scroll to the bottom, and pick Delete all old. Confirm you want to do it and it resets.

- Answer Ed - The VTech CM18445 has an auto attendant feature that will enable callers to select a specific extension number that they would like to reach. If the selected extension is not available to answer a call, the private mailbox will pick up to record an incoming message. Thank you, -VTech Support

The mailbox of the VTech CM18245 should be set to on for the extension mailbox to pick up. QuestionDoes the cm 18445 has a hunting roll over system in it? I need to have a main number to publish for my customers so customers will only call the main number and the system will roll over the calls to the other lines if and when line 1 (main #) is busy.

- Answer Yes, the phone will automatically roll over to the next available line. So, if line one is busy it will ring to line two. This model can handle up to 4 lines.

QuestionI have a cm18445 and a cordless cm18045 connected to it. If I am on a call on the cordless handset (cm18045) with a caller and another call is coming in on line 2, can i put the first caller on hold and switch to line 2 to answer the second caller?
