Questiondoes this announce the caller details like caller ID when some one calls when someone calls? so we don't have to get the hand set and check who is calling. also does it record i the message caller id and time of call?

- Answer I was able to use my same number with this phone, you should be able to also. The phone needs to be plugged into your home outlet and your phone line in that you have in your home at this time. It should work with your same number just by plugging it into your phone line you have now in your home. Little setup required!

QuestionDoes the vtech cs 6629 have an either net connection on it to plug in ? My new house does not have any land line telephone plugs on the wall.
